1 in 4 children in the United States could face hunger this year because of the coronavirus. I find this unacceptable. So I am fundraising for No Kid Hungry. As a Chef, it is my duty to feed others, and right now kids are not getting the food they need. It is my goal to raise money by running 47 miles in the month of September with as many Chefs as possible, to represent the 47% of families facing hunger during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  I will be using my social communty, Line Cook Thoughts, to inspire Chefs to run and help raise awarness for this problem that 1 in 4 kids are facing. I hope the passion of feeding others can be channeled in the form for fundraising for kids and their needs for food. The time period to run starts September 1st, and ends Septmeber 30th. Join me in dedicating the month of September to fighting childhood hunger.
