Ending Childhood Hunger in America

No Kid Hungry is an incredible organization that connects kids with food all over this country - in fact, I'm working with them right now to get a breakfast program into Brendan and Trevor's public school in San Francisco. Childhood hunger in America is a solvable problem and Williams Sonoma is a partner and leader in No Kid Hungry. Williams Sonoma is on track to raise $2M for the cause by the end of the year! Children who regularly miss out on nutritious food struggle in school behaviorally and academically.
With the recent hurricane damage, many schools are closed and kids have nowhere to turn for food. NKH just donated over $300K to Houston and are pledging funds to food banks in Florida, as well.
Today, 13 million children struggle with hunger in the U.S. That’s ONE in SIX who are without regular nutritious meals and are unable to thrive in school. We are working hard to surround kids with the food they need where they live, learn, and play. We are closing gaps between nutritious food programs and families in need by developing lasting solutions for hungry families—the difference between feeding a family tonight and ensuring that they never again have to worry about their next meal. Will you support me by giving a gift of $50 to connect kids to 500 meals?
