Share Our Strength® Cause Marketing Partner Program

Thank you for your interest in aligning with Share Our Strength to help raise funds to end childhood hunger in America. Since 1984, Share Our Strength has led the fight against hunger and poverty by inspiring and organizing businesses to share their strengths. Together, with many great companies, we have raised over $315 million to fight hunger around the globe. We have invested critical funds in over 1,000 hunger-related organizations to help the most effective organizations sustain their efforts and maximize their capacity to deliver results. Today, our priority is to end childhood hunger in America ensuring that the more than 16 million American children facing hunger have access to the nutritious food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

We receive many offers for partnerships. Although we would like to support and promote every program that comes to us, we are not able to do so. Therefore, we have established the following criteria that will help ensure that those programs that we do support are in line with our mission and how we operate.

Criteria of a cause marketing program with Share Our Strength

Share Our Strength staff will use selection criteria, based upon the nature and character of each inquiry, to evaluate potential partnership opportunities. Those used to evaluate a prospective partnership or endorsement may include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Project alignment with Share Our Strength’s mission and goals;
  2. Overall benefits for both Share Our Strength and the inquiring organization;
  3. Does not involve Share Our Strength’s outreach to partners, chefs, and/or followers to sell products or services for a % of sales;
  4. Timeliness or readiness of the inquiring organization to enter a partnership agreement;
  5. A guaranteed financial commitment is based on the company, program, timing, and partnership deliverables needed (chef access, employee engagement, sponsor/cause marketing benefits).

Process for partnerships with Share Our Strength

  1. Upon completion of the form below, a member of the Share Our Strength staff will contact within seven business days to continue the partnership conversation. The opportunity needs to be is submitted to Share Our Strength at least 45 days before the program is to be implemented to allow for enough time to create an integrated campaign and contract.
  2. If the partnership is mutually agreed upon, an agreement tailored specifically to the partnership will be drafted jointly.
  3. Subject to a fully executed partnership agreement, the relationship will commence.
  4. Advertisements, collateral, etc. must meet the Better Business Bureau's guidelines for cause marketing programs.
