Tell the House of Representattives TODAY that cuts to federal nutrition programs in the House budget resolution would hurt children and our country.
How low can Congress go? It’s a pretty low blow to target kids, and with this latest budget resolution that’s just what they’ve done.
As it stands, the House is proposing a $150 billion dollar cut to SNAP, one of the most powerful tools we have for addressing childhood hunger in this country. But that’s not all. The Community Eligibility Program, or CEP, stands to lose much of its funding—this would badly gut a program helps more than 9 million kids get the school meals they need.
Tell the House of Representatives not to cut much-needed nutrition programs that feed hungry children!

“Putting kids in the middle of a political fight is downright cruel. Cuts to federal nutrition programs in the House budget resolution would hurt children and hurt our country. Vote NO to the proposed $150 billion dollar cut to SNAP, and NO to pulling funding from The Community Eligibility Program. These cuts would gut a program helps more than 9 million kids get the school meals they need. Let’s stand up and fight for American children.”
