TELL THE SENATE: THERE IS MORE TO DO

This week, Congress passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, a bipartisan bill which ensures communities can feed children during this pandemic. But there is still more to do.

Join us today in urging Congress to pass a comprehensive stimulus package that supports both local economies and families.

The aftershocks of the coronavirus pandemic will be felt in households for months to come. We need relief today but, as jobs are lost and entire industries are disrupted, we need a plan for recovery in the future.

Your support can make a big difference in the lives of hungry children. Thanks for making your voice heard.

Personalizing your letter below will go further. To make your message more effective, please share why you oppose this rule and why increasing childhood hunger will put the health and well-being of millions of children across America at risk.

Make sure families stay fed

Dear [Decision Maker],

I am writing today to urge you to pass a comprehensive stimulus package that makes sure families can feed their children while also helping to stabilize the economy.

I am urging you to make sure any COVID-19 economic recovery package builds on SNAP's economic stimulus effects by

1. Boosting the SNAP maximum benefit by at least 15 percent;
2. Increasing the minimum SNAP benefit from $16 to $30;
3. Suspending all SNAP administrative rules that would terminate or weaken benefits; and
4. Expanding the SNAP Restaurant Meal Program (RMP) to all SNAP households.

I urge you to support these policies. Kids are counting on you.

Sincerely,
